Our clients in the automotive sector are both automobile manufacturers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). As a consequence the range of projects is very diverse. Often, the production process of semi-finished products is investigated, for example, tension leveling of steel strips. Other projects deal with aspects of metal forming, for example, deep drawing of engine parts. For the end product, fatigue analyses can provide valuable insights into the durability of components. Complex topics such as the simulation of sloshing in fuel tanks, the analysis of deposition processes in engines, or the prediction of temperature distributions in headlights have been successfully treated in the past.
