Complex structures

Structures, machines, and mechanisms can have very complex geometries and can consist of many different parts. This adds a lot of potential complexity to the simulation models. The challenges are to build an efficient simulation model on the one hand (preprocessing) and to handle and to interpret a large amount of result data on the other hand (postprocessing). Being able to detect critical areas quickly and reliably is vital for working out design improvements.
