Road marker
This project contained the calculation of a marker barrier with the objective of determining a definite reduction of material and weight.
Since the product is an extruded profile, the profile cross-section could be varied as required in terms of wall thickness within the scope of manufacturing possibilities.
As a framework condition, the buckling moment of the delineator specified by the road owner must be complied with.
Result:
In the course of 3-4 variant calculations, a material saving of 15% could be realized!
