Fluid-Structure-Interaction in CFD

Turbo machines are characterised by a continuous fluid flow and a pressure gradient from inlet to outlet. Computational fluid dynamics replaces a good portion of expensive prototype building and testing. In most cases it is quicker to change the geometry in a CFD model than to build a new protoype.
