Fluid-Structure-Interaction (FSI)

In many technical problems structures interact with fluid flow. The flow around or through a structure can cause vibrations or deformations in the structure, which in turn can influence the flow.

By combining advanced FEM and CFD software we can analyse the interaction between the fluid and the structure. Besides commercial software, we use our self-developed panelcode P4 for unsteady potential flows.
