Underfloor device connections
As each section of a Transport System Bögl (TSB) vehicle has power electronics for levitation, propulsion and cooling, the equipment arrangement in the underfloor is tightly packed. For this reason, there are various underfloor suspensions that are analyzed and evaluated in conjunction with the lightweight wagon body.
All connections to the welded wagon body are made using bolts and/or rivet brackets. The bolts were verified according to VDI2230, the rivets according to DIN EN 1991.
The test runs were successfully completed in 2019 on a test track built at Max Bögl. The EBA granted approval in 2020. TSB’s magnetic levitation train has been in use since 2020 on the railway lines in Sengenthal and China.
